Skateboard trucks
Skateboard trucks are metal axles connected to a metal
base, which is screwed into the skate deck. The axle rests on a donut-shaped
cushion which absorbs shocks and lets riders steer by leaning. Each
side of the axle supports one wheel–which means each board needs
two trucks.

A lot of skate-tricks require grinding, a maneuver where riders use
their skateboard trucks to slide along a curb or a handrail. As their
name suggests, Grindking makes specialty products meant to withstand
grinds better than other trucks.
